Join us for the 3rd Annual Plane Pull, brought to you by United Way of Mesa County and the Greater Grand Junction Sports Commission

WHAT: Get your team together and participate in the competition of the year to see who can "tow" a 100-ton Boeing 757 twenty feet the fastest! Test your "throw" skills in an epic cornhole competition, enjoy food trucks, a beer garden, and more! Each plane pull team will get at least two chances to pull the plane in a double-elimination style competition.

WHEN: Saturday, October 1st, 2022. Team pull times will be sent to the Team Captain a week prior to the event.

WHERE: The Grand Junction Regional Airport. Parking and shuttle details will be sent to the Team Captain a week prior to the event.

WHY: Proceeds from the Airplane Tow 'N' Throw benefit vital nonprofit programs right here in Mesa County.

TEAM INFORMATION: Teams can consist of up to 22 people, but only 18 people can pull the plane during your designated pull times. Anyone can be on your team including employees, co-workers, family, friends, clients/customers, etc. Each team registration includes one cornhole competition team entry (2 people). Teams must register in advance no later than Monday, September 26.

All teams must have a designated Team Captain. A team roster with the full names of each team member will be due at least a week prior to the event. Team Captains are responsible for recruiting team members, paying the team entry fee, submitting a team roster, and making sure your team makes it to the event on time.

COSTUME CONTEST: We are encouraging all teams to wear your craziest, most creative costumes! A prize will be awarded to the team with the most original and hilarious getup.
